Giving your time, attention and care to those who need it more with Miss P.R. Nyashanu
On Saturday 14 March a group of well wishers convened at Mabvuku High School in Harare, Zimbabwe to spend the day with orphans. As highlighted by Miss Nyashanu many of these youngsters are victims of the century's most negating pandemic, HIV/AIDS.
This events is one of the many efforts by many in the country to try and ease the lives of affected children and teenagers. Non governmental organisations, schools and other stakeholders chipped in on this day. Students from Westridge High School and Harare International School participated actively in peer education. Book reading and maths classes where conducted with the aid of students from the 2 schools.
Various donations where recieved and handed over to the families of these youngsters. Most donations were food stuffs thus the event organisers where wishing if more varying kinds of donations could be fueled to this heart warming event in the future.
He/she might not be your relative, friend or acquintance but doesnt mean they dont need you. by saying so im not implying or suggesting they become paupers but come-on check the HIV/AIDS statistics in Africa, you need no telling or convincing.
